When a customer moves through checkout, the Order promise dates are calculated based on where the customer is, how long it will take to deliver with a courier, when stock can be picked, delivery & dispatch holidays, pick/pack capacity (how many they can realistically dispatch per working day); all to ensure customer expectations are clearly set. This dramatically reduces the number of “Where is my Order?” queries.

E.g., if a portion of stock becomes damaged and stock availability is reduced, all baskets with that product are instantly affected, Google Ads are instantly stopped and appropriate notices are displayed to agents.
